The Hospitality Committee for United Nations Delegations, Inc. is a charitable 501(C)(3) organization, with the following mission:
To promote and strengthen understanding and friendly ties between all levels of the United Nations diplomatic community and the people of New York City;
To assist newly arrived United Nations diplomats and their families to adjust to their new life in New York by providing information and programs that reduce language and cultural barriers; and
To broaden an appreciation of the culture and customs of the United States among United Nations diplomats and their families, thereby enhancing the reputation of the United States and the United Nations.
HCUND has remained committed to this mission since its founding in 1954.
